The most important anti aging therapies remain the traditional ones, inspired from the ancient lifestyle and old secrets. The idea that the ancient anti aging therapies are still valid is amazing, as the modern therapies are based on the traditional ones and use the same secrets, kept from generation to generation. These anti aging therapies are based on special nutrients that are well-known due to their extraordinary effects: green tea extract, fish oil, Coenzyme Q10, vitamin B6 and B12, folic acid, vitamin E and some other famous anti aging therapies.

Speaking about the first anti aging therapy, an important aspect should be mentioned – green tea extract has many benefits upon the body and mind of the human being. The recent researches and studies show that even the membrane structural integrity is maintained due to the green tea extract. The secret of the green tea extract as an anti aging source is the fact that the green tea contains antioxidants of a great power and efficiency, which are slowing down the aging process. Some constituents of the green tea extract are more powerful in functioning as antioxidants than other antioxidant sources like vitamin C and E or the products that contain them (carrots, strawberries, spinach, etc.). Green tea is capable of protecting the body from the negative influence of the free radicals because of its antioxidant power.

Another important anti aging therapy is the fish oil, well-known due to its amazing properties – this is reducing the risks of heart attacks and of coronary heart diseases and it is reducing other related disorders of the heart and blood vessel activity. These aspects also contribute to an anti aging process.

Another research points out the importance of the Coenzyme Q10 in the anti aging fight. The deficiency of this substance is to be noticed in the case of the aging persons; that is why the Coenzyme Q10 may be considered the most important supplement for the aging generations.

The role of vitamin B6 and B12 as well as of the folic acid is to reduce the cardio-vascular diseases, which represents a decisive source of anti aging substances.

Another source of antioxidants is vitamin E, contributing to a diminution of the free radicals activity. The benefits of this antioxidant cover many domains of the well functioning of the human body and contribute to an anti aging process.

These anti aging strategies, as well as many others that are considered antioxidants contribute to the neutralization of the free radicals, inhibiting their damages (aging and some diseases). In order to obtain the needed amount of antioxidants, the consumption of fruits and vegetables is a good solution, but in many cases, this aspect is just not enough. In order to find out about the deficiency of the body, the professional advice of a doctor, nutritionist or dietitian might be needed. In some cases, the aging process and the appearance of some diseases may be prevented with the help of the proper antioxidant supplements, be it the case of vitamin C, E, B6 and B12, A, beta carotene or folic acid.

Anti aging therapies and strategies may be also based on hormones that are responsible of declining the aging process. Some of the well-known hormones that have a role in anti aging are the following: testosterone, melatonin, estrogen and some others. Some researchers find the studies about the influence of the hormones in the anti aging process inconclusive. Therefore, the traditional usage of antioxidants and of special supplements is more recommended than the usage of hormones. That is why the most popular and natural anti aging therapies are the ones that were used from the ancient times, providing relevant results in the anti aging process.
